Every state in United State has their own characteristic, New York is known as the metropolitan, Florida serves its unbeatable beautiful beaches for the tourist, and we can see many other characters on the states. Maryland in which location is near Washington DC is well known with its Civil War history. Although the state is highlight the Civil War travel, but we can find many interesting indoor and outdoor place to visit. If we are travel to Maryland, Frederick County is the place we should visit. The county offers great vacation experiences for adult and children. When history becomes our interest, on Frederick County, we can find so many museums or historical sites. The places offer interesting way to explain the history with artifact, pictures, and sometimes technological devices so the visitor will not get bore with the explanation.

If we have no interest on Civil War, Frederick County offers more than 90 parks for great outdoor activities; we can do the outdoor activities with our children on Catoctin Wildlife Preserve and Zoo. On the zoo, we can introduce our children to more than 450 exotic wild and tame animals from lemur, lions, to boas. We should also not miss the funny animal show performed by the smart parrots or touch the pythons and lizards.
